The cheers of the Red Shirts at Lat Phrao

Thailand's Constitutional Court read its verdict. I happened to be walking around the Lat Phrao area, when I was told that the Red Shirts had gathered at the Imperial building.

The 5th floor was crowded, almost suffocating, with eager supporters and loyal followers. Highly intensified energy, bursting, people were eagerly glued to the big-screens, waiting for the verdict.

My understanding of the Thai language is extremely poor, though the roar was deafening, intensifying. Hugs, hands waving in the air, sweaty faces, and smiles, people threw themselves in a frenzy of joy. The cries of relief and victory.

Such is the passion of the Red Shirts of Thailand.
