A usual day in Bangkok

Taxi riders waiting for customers

It has been a gruelling week, my feet taking me to unknown places in the city. An adrenaline rush, perhaps, exposing my senses to the older parts of Bangkok. I saw streetkids selling flowers at the busy road, an army of motorcycle taxi riders, the nightly stench of thrown garbage by the side of the street, people racing on the pavements seeking things to buy, and the abundance of fast food sold by street vendors.

Life has not changed, not in this city.
