His Indian Voice

I want a man
give me a soft voice
an arresting whisper
for me
Romance inside one syllable
Mr., give to me
warmth of free
A gentle voice
not forceful oration
for pleasure?
I shall ask
he has the moon
his caress
holds the sky to learn
While in my dreams
he swims deep
knowing he will rise
on Earth
Soothing voice
calming of shared secret
without vibration
upon ears, eyes, mind, fingertips, heart
ask him of that moon
listen along
with hush of the sea
a place, another continent
a magic ride
He will have gestures of perfection
to admire
He will have much
to offer
So I see a man
he enters dreams
he has his voice
and much to teach
