A turn for the worse

A modern monument, the ultimate Malaysian tribute to glory; while the surrounding and gutters look submissively at its steel, cement superstructure. Life, in Kuala Lumpur, has grown worse; at least for the urban poor.

High cost of living, young people affected by unemployment, increasing homelessness and household debts, and the diaspora of laborers from distant realms. Where ever you are under the open sky, the twin towers never leave your sight. A powerful sentient, observing, sensing, your misery.

Kuala Lumpur, a city built from the tears of the hidden.
